The "Great Ife" institution secured the top spot after a hard-fought battle against the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), in a high-stakes grand finale.

According to a statement released on Tuesday by OAU’s Public Relations Officer, Abiodun Olarewaju, the contest was designed to push the boundaries of the students' knowledge, innovation, and problem-solving capabilities within critical STEM disciplines.
While many top-tier institutions entered the fray, OAU and FUTA outperformed the field in the preliminary stages to set up an intense final showdown.
