Temi Nkem has been crowned the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 11, emerging victorious at the grand finale of the reality television show on Sunday, October 4, 2026.
The 21-year-old housemate, whose real name is Temitope Chigbue, defeated Aikou and Sheba to claim the crown in the “Show Ya Sef” edition after 70 days in the Big Brother house.
Temi's victory came after a dramatic finale that saw six other finalists evicted before the final three were announced. Aikou finished as the first runner-up, while Sheba took the second runner-up position.
Temi Nkem takes the crown
The announcement brought an end to the 11th season of one of Nigeria's most popular reality television shows.
Temi entered the competition on July 26 alongside 23 other housemates and remained in the house until the final night. Throughout the season, she became known for her outspoken personality, confidence and memorable interactions with other housemates.
According to reported voting results, Temi secured 25.87% of the final votes, narrowly finishing ahead of Aikou, who received 23.68%. Sheba followed with 9.80%.
Her victory makes her the fifth female winner in Big Brother Naija history.
A ₦160 million prize package
Temi will leave the Big Brother house with a prize package valued at ₦160 million.
The package includes ₦90 million in cash, a brand-new SUV and additional sponsored prizes. The cash component was reduced from the originally announced ₦100 million after ₦10 million was allocated to the season's Most Influential Player of the Week (MIPOW) prize fund.
The season's winner therefore walks away with one of the biggest prize packages in the history of the Nigerian reality show.
Aikou and Sheba complete the top three
Aikou finished the competition as the first runner-up.
The housemate, who entered the competition as a Gambit, attracted attention during the season for his calm personality and strategic approach to the game.
Sheba finished third after also making it to the final stage of the competition.
The final three were revealed after a series of evictions during the finale, with Barry, Oyin, Ricky, Flora, Tram and Bluethopia all leaving the competition before the final three faced the last announcement.
A dramatic Season 11 finale
The Season 11 finale featured performances, emotional exits and the final showdown between the remaining housemates.
Teni opened the finale with a performance, while Oshamo also performed as the show moved towards the final announcement.
For the first time in the show's history, the final three housemates walked to the finale stage together before the winner was revealed.
After 10 weeks of nominations, tasks, evictions, relationships, arguments, alliances and unexpected twists, Temi's name was the final one announced by host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
Temi's journey to victory
Temi's run in the house was marked by her strong personality and frequent involvement in major conversations.
She participated in tasks, games and wager presentations while building relationships with fellow housemates and navigating conflicts and alliances.
Her personality also made her one of the season's most recognisable contestants, with the official Big Brother Naija platform describing her as loud, bubbly and known for her chaotic antics and fiery clashes.
Her journey ultimately ended with the biggest prize of the season.
With Temi Nkem now crowned the winner, the “Show Ya Sef” edition of Big Brother Naija has officially come to an end.
