WOLVERHAMPTON — Wolverhampton Wanderers have officially secured the return of striker Raul Jimenez on a free transfer from Fulham. The 35 year-old Mexican international has signed a two-year deal at Molineux, which includes an option for a third season, as the club begins its preparations for life in the Championship following their relegation from the Premier League earlier this year.

A Fan Favorite Returns

Jimenez’s return to Molineux is being hailed as a major boost for the club. Between 2018 and 2023, the striker became a legendary figure for Wolves, scoring 57 goals in 166 appearances before departing for Fulham. His return comes after his contract with the London side expired at the end of the season.

The signing is seen as a statement of intent from Wolves manager Rob Edwards, who is tasked with spearheading an immediate return to the top flight. Jimenez is currently on international duty with Mexico as they prepare for the 2026 World Cup, which begins this week.
