WOLVERHAMPTON — Championship side Wolves have secured a major coup in the transfer market, reaching an agreement to sign veteran defender Kieran Trippier on a free transfer.
The 35-year-old former England international, who recently departed Newcastle United after a successful four-year stint, has reportedly accepted a two-year contract with the club, which includes an option for a third season.

Following their relegation from the Premier League, Wolves manager Rob Edwards has prioritized experience and leadership to spearhead the club's immediate return to the top flight. Trippier is viewed as the ideal figure to mentor the squad and provide the professional standard necessary for a challenging Championship campaign.
