LONDON — Tottenham Hotspur have officially confirmed the signing of Liverpool legend Andy Robertson on a free transfer. The 32 year-old Scotland captain, whose contract at Anfield expires on June 30, is set to join Spurs on July 1, 2026.
The Move
The transfer marks a major coup for Spurs manager Roberto De Zerbi, who is actively reshaping his squad following the conclusion of the 2025–26 campaign. Robertson, who has spent nine successful years at Liverpool, decided to move on after an illustrious spell that saw him win two Premier League titles and a Champions League trophy, among other honors.
