MUNICH — Bayern Munich is aggressively pursuing a deal for PSV Eindhoven’s versatile forward Ismael Saibari. The German club has reportedly reached an agreement on personal terms with the 25-year-old and is now looking to finalize a transfer fee with his current club before the upcoming World Cup.

Personal Terms: Bayern has successfully agreed to contract terms with the Moroccan international.
The Opening Bid: Reports indicate that Bayern is preparing an opening offer worth €48 million, including performance-based bonuses.
The Valuation Gap: While Bayern aims to close the deal at a lower price point, PSV Eindhoven is reportedly holding out for a fee closer to €60 million. Negotiators are expected to bridge this gap in the coming weeks.
Why Saibari?
Saibari is coming off a stellar 2025/26 campaign in the Eredivisie. His tactical flexibility makes him a highly sought-after target, as he is equally comfortable playing on the wing, as an attacking midfielder, or leading the line as a striker. This past season, he recorded 19 goals and nine assists in just 37 appearances, proving his efficiency in front of goal.
Bayern management is keen to wrap up the negotiations before the World Cup, where Saibari is expected to be a key figure for the Moroccan national team. Securing him early would allow the club to finalize their squad composition before the tournament begins.
